Well, I have committed to reading the Bible in one year. I am using The Daily Bible: In Chronological Order 365 Daily Readings.
I have decided to read it out loud to the kids not only for their benefit of capturing some of this information and to be able to use their imagination more to see images in their head of what I read. But also to help me grasp the information better. Sometimes I find if I am reading things that are a little bit more difficult to read and I read it out loud, I grasp more. So off we go tomorrow. I look forward to this.
oh, and let me also say I have no plans on trying to make my study notes beautifully written. They will be my thoughts as they come out of my fingers. Probably very jumbled!
