Psalm 111: The psalmist expresses his delight in Gods works and he names many that His saints enjoy and which should lead others to hold Him in reverential awe.
Psalm 130: This is another prayer for mercy. It blends the major elements of mercy as understood in the Bible. The psalmist is in distress. Yet, assurance of forgiveness give him and all Gods people strength to wait till He acts in love and redeems.
Psalm 131: This is a prayer of total trust. The arrogant rely on themselves and refuse to submit to God, but the true believer is as dependent on God as a little child is on his parents.
Psalm 141: David prays at evening for protection from sin and from sinners. He will be safe as long as he keeps his eyes fixed on the Lord.
Psalm 146: The psalmist will praise God all his life, first because God is creator and then because God is so gracious to the needy. God reigns.
